Nicki Flowers Newell

NP

Born and raised in Texas, Nicki Flowers Newell is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for empowering women to live healthier, longer, and more vibrant lives. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Houston Baptist University and graduated with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she received her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Women’s Health.

Nicki began her career in the emergency room and worked as a travel nurse before discovering her calling to specialize in women’s health. Following graduate school, she dedicated much of her career to gynecologic oncology, working in private practice and spending 12 years at MD Anderson Cancer Center. There, she cared for women across all stages of life—from teenagers to women in their 90s—managing complex gynecologic conditions, precancerous and cancer diagnoses, and guiding patients through peri- and post-menopausal health challenges.

Her professional interests center on health, wellness, longevity, and optimizing function for women in midlife and beyond. She is committed to helping women thrive during life’s transitions with a focus on prevention, education, and individualized care.

Outside of her clinical work, Nicki is an avid runner, yogi, and hiker who also enjoys cooking and reading. She loves spending time with her husband and staying active with her two children.
